Iceland – IDU Member forms new government
IDU’s member in Iceland – the Independence Party – has formed a new centre-right coalition. The Independence Party – who won elections last October, will partner with both the Reform and Bright Future parties to make the new government.
Independence leader Bjarni Benediktsson will become the next Prime Minister. The new government will support a vote on whether to resume talks about entry to the European Union.
Congratulations to the Independence Party on their return to government!
