Raul Castro Stagnaro
Raúl Eduardo Castro Stagnaro is the President of IDU’s member in Peru, the Christian People’s Party.
Borned in Lima in 1952, he is a lawyer graduated at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru with several studies in Peru and abroad. He’s married with Juana Maria Pareja Pflucker and is father of two children.
At present, he’s the President of Partido Popular Cristiano of whom he has been General Secretary and leader member for many years.
Dr. Castro has been elected congressman by Lima and has occupied the Presidence of many important comissions like Justice and Human Rights Comission; Civil Code Editor Comission; and Constitutional Court Magistrates Selector Comission in two opportunities; he has been member of the Constitution and Regulation Comission; of the Foreign Affairs Comission; of the Agriculture Comission; of the Peruvian Congress Modernization Comission; member of the House of Democracy of the Congress of the United States of America; and President of the Institute of Market Social Economy and many other institutions.
Nowadays he’s one of the figures whose opinion is always taken under consideration for the progress of the country.
He served as a Congressman representing Lima for the 2006-2011 term.
