40th anniversary of the International Democrat Union

On June 19-21, the IDU celebrated its 40th anniversary by returning to its birthplace for our London Forum, an unforgettable three-day conference organised in the heart of Westminster. Delegates from our member-parties and distinguished guests reflected on the IDU’s four decades of uniting conservatives and promoting freedom and democracy around the world, as well as discussed solutions to overcome today’s geopolitical and economic challenges. Solidarity with the Ukrainian peoples’ ongoing struggle to defend their nation against the criminal Russian aggression was also strongly expressed throughout the conference.
