25th UPLA Anniversary in Santiago de Chile

IDU’s Regional Organization in Latin America, Unión de Partidos Latinoamericanos UPLA, celebrated its 25th anniversary from 6 – 8 June in Santiago de Chile. We congratulate all UPLA members as well as former and current delegates for their achievements in fighting freedom, democracy, human rights and a free market and encourage them to continue with this important work. The battle against totalitarism, corruption and dictatorship is much needed and has to be proceeded.

A new UPLA Board has been elected during the Executive Meeting in Chile. IDU congratulates the new board members Oscar Ortiz, Movimento Democrata Social, Bolivia, José Carlos Aleluia, Democratas, Brasil , Julián Obiglio, PRO Argentina, Felipe Corzo, Partido Conservador, Colombia and Sergio Romero, Partido Renovacion Nacional RN, Chile.
