+++Important update regarding IDU Forum Vienna+++
Dear members and friends of the IDU,
I am writing with respect to our planning for IDU Forum Vienna in late April. Given the cancellations and postponements of many global events in recent days we have been closely assessing the feasibility of proceeding with the Forum.
In consultation with our Executive Committee we have reluctantly come to accept that the most prudent course is to postpone our Vienna Forum. Unfortunately, the reality of evolving covid-19 containment measures has created significant travel uncertainty for many of our members and guests who would normally plan to attend.
In the weeks ahead we will remain in close contact with Chancellor Sebastian Kurz’s office and the ÖVP in an effort to identify alternative timing.
