The IDU Forum 2025 in Brussels will unite policymakers, senior party officials, and thought leaders across our global membership and beyond. These gatherings provide a unique space for open dialogue and rigorous debate, fostering meaningful exchanges between like-minded partners committed to the shared values of freedom, democracy, and free markets. The IDU Forum is designed to build strategic relationships, facilitate discussions on pressing policy challenges, share best practices in campaigning and governance, and support democratic movements in emerging economies.
Each year, the IDU hosts two flagship Forums: the marquee IDU Forum in Washington, D.C., and a regionally focused Forum that rotates locations. This year’s IDU Forum in Brussels will continue this tradition of high-level engagement, allowing participants to connect with global leaders and contribute to shaping the centre-right movement worldwide. We are honoured to have welcomed distinguished speakers at previous Forums, including H.E. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, 4th President of Croatia, Hon. Scott Morrison, 30th Prime Minister of Australia, Rt. Hon. Kemi Badenoch, Leader of the Opposition in the UK House of Commons, H.E. Sebastian Kurz, 26th Chancellor of Austria, Rt. Hon. Boris Johnson, 55th Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Manfred Weber MEP, President of the European People’s Party, Rep. Mike McCaul, Chairman of the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee, David McAllister MEP, Chair of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs, Hon. Antonio Giordano MP, Secretary General of the European Conservatives and Reformists Party, and the Hon. Enda Kenny, 13th Taoiseach of Ireland.
With discussions and panels by these esteemed political figures, the IDU Forum 2025 in Brussels promises to be a crucial platform for addressing global challenges, strengthening international cooperation, and reinforcing the values that unite the democratic centre-right. We look forward to welcoming you to this important gathering as we continue our work to advance freedom and democracy on every continent.
