For Greece
The “Nea Dimokratia” government, in a chaotic environment and under unprecedented conditions, has managed not only to maintain the country’s situation but to also achieve measurable results.
Under the leadership of Kyriakos Mitsotakis, we managed the pandemic in an exemplary manner. We did not give in to the threats of the Turkish leadership. We politically coordinated the Greek borders with the external borders of the European Union. And we strengthened the international position of the country by regaining much lost ground.
We built an international brand as a safe destination during the pandemic and were the first to open the tourism market in 2021, leading to consecutive, record growth of the country’s tourism GDP.
At the same time, we have advanced the horizontal digitalization of the state, created an attractive investment landscape, reduced taxes, reduced public debt, and improved in the ratings of international agencies like Moody’s and others.
Finally, we are becoming a normal country. And this is also an achievement of the Greek people. The government can boast because this was achieved under adverse conditions (Russian invasion in Ukraine, Turkish threats and rhetoric) and unprecedented events (pandemic). This is the great advantage for Kyriakos Mitsotakis going into the elections.
So, it comes down to a matter of who will guarantee the way forward with tangible results and proven ability.
For Europe and the world.
Greece is now the most important pillar of stability on the southernmost and easternmost fringes of the European Union and the European continent.
While traditional allies are losing credibility and solvency, Greece is establishing its position as a powerful geopolitical player.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis is the most reliable interlocutor for security and peace in the region, while his international reach, combined with the reforms taking place, have attracted very important investments to the country (Microsoft, Pfizer, Amazon, Boehringer Ingelheim).
The country’s image is not only better than 2019, but reflects a country with staying power, competitiveness, and reputable institutions.
U.S. investments, such as the port of Alexandroupolis, and the energetic strengthening of the Southeast European region on Greek soil confirm the claims above.
Strengthening the country’s prospects requires stability and trust in the lowest common denominator.
