The IDU at the Japan Forum hosted by Worldwide Support for Development
The International Democrat Union was honoured to join the Japan Forum on International Relations in co-chairing the 6th Global Opinion Leaders Summit, hosted by Worldwide Support for Development (WSD) in Tokyo, Japan on July 28-29, 2022. The summit and panel discussion series included six former Prime Ministers, five of whom served as Leaders of IDU Member Parties, and focused on critical geo-strategic issues including Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the changing geo-political dynamics in the Indo-Pacific, and Japan’s role in this evolving region.
The IDU thanks Worldwide Support for Development for its leadership in convening this important dialogue.
